05. Counselling Services for the young adult

 

Designed for:

Psychologists, pedagogues, Psycho-pedagogic Counselling teams, special education class teachers, psycho-pedagogues, doctors and nurses in basic areas.  
     
  Objectives:
  • To convey a short intervention model for the adolescent in order to detect the focus in the halt of the development process in the adolescent
  • To discern the significant elements of crisis situations and their causes.
  • To offer an intervention suggestion adjusted to the needs of the demand and awareness of the problem.
The professional will be able to help young adults to get a clear picture or understanding of the problem or difficulty they may have.

 

  
     
  Methodology:
    • Theoretical framework of the model and of  development in adolescence (readings)
    • Supervision of counselling cases provided by the participant professionals at the start of the second quarter.

Gloria Mateu,
Doctor in psychology, psychotherapist, psycho-pedagogue and Orgdyne consultant. 
Member of the ACPP-AEPP and FEAP. Psychologist at the Mental Health Centre of Sant Pere Claver.

Dates and times:
Wednesdays. In quarterly terms (which may be taken separately) from October to December 2007, from January to March 2008 and from April to June 2008, from 4 PM to 6 PM.
