09. Understanding speech disorders and their therapeutic approach
Designed for:
Psychologists, pedagogues, psychotherapists, psycho-pedagogues, speech therapists, special education teachers and teachers in general, who are interested in understanding speech disorders from a psychodynamic perspective and their therapeutic one.
Objectives:
To foster the understanding of the inter-relationships of the baby with his/her family as the basis for learning the spoken and written language; the processes that may interfere and therapeutic approaches.
Syllabus:
Basic requirements for the development of language
First relationships mother-infant.
Differentiation-individualization process
The symbolization process.
Emotional factors that may interfere in the development of language. Relational development alterations.
The main speech and writing disorders and their aetiology.
Therapeutic indications and treatment.
Methodology:
There will be a theoretical portion accompanied by examples and the study of recommended readings.
