Intensive Master in Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy | Course 2007-2008

Title proper of the University of the University of Girona

Master of Improvement of Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy. Recognized by the “European Federation Psychoanalytic Psychoterapy (EFPP), by the “Spanish Association of Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy” (AEPP) and by the Spanish Federation of Associations of Psychotherapists (FEAP).

These programs have been declared of Public Health interest of the Generalitat of Catalonia

At present, the ACPP and the University of Girona have signed an agreement through which the first two years of training acquire the category of Master in Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy with proper title of the above mentioned University.

The social interest awoken by the application of psychodynamic psychology has meant that in this seminar, professionals of different disciplines showed their interest, who have been able to study according to their interests either the full training or the partial training.

The ACPP offers, through this Intensive Seminar, the possibility to form oneself as a psychoanalytical psychotherapist for all those doctors and psychologists that live outside Barcelona, if they accomplish the complete training (Master in Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy and Master in Improving).

The students that achieve the Master in Improving and who have followed a psychotherapeutic treatment, will be allowed to be member associates of the ACPP, the AEPP, the EFPP and the FEAP.

The ACPP, Catalan Association of Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy, founded in 1986, is a collective constituted by psychotherapists of psychoanalytical orientation with an extense training and clinical experience who work in the different ambits of mental health both in private as in public services.

All these programs for professionals from outside Barcelona, organized by the Training Committee of the ACPP Board, are also offered by the School of the ACPP for professionals residing in Barcelona

The Fundació Universitat de Girona: Innovacio i Formació [University of Girona Foundation: Innovation and Training] is the unit that promotes the studies of Master’s, graduate and specialization degrees of the Universitat de Girona (UdG) with the purpose of adapting studies to the European Higher Education Area and give them an international dimension.

The ACPP has signed a contract with the Fundació Universitat de Girona which allows it to offer, starting in academic year 2007-2008, the Intensive Master’s Degree in Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy.
