1. Greeting


	Dear colleagues, After the Easter break, which we hope you have deeply enjoyed, we enter the final stretch of this academic year, remembering a past event: the last Debate of the ACPP Why wars? The presentations stemmed from different angles of analysis, Ana Maria Sanjurjo’s was more historical-anthropological. Eduardo Braier’s presentation, - one of the more controversial ones-, had a psychopathologic perspective, and finally, Dr. Ramon Bassols’s presentation, which centered the starting point of the debate from a psychoanalysis standpoint. Many thanks to the speakers and to the scientific committee and all the people who contributed in making this debate more complex, free and rich. As we were saying about this final stretch, we are also in the middle of a future change. After six years in which the ACPP has been taking care of the optimal maintenance of the Spanish association, now the AEPP presidency is planning to move to Seville. May 31 will be the end of the legislature from Catalonia, with an event the program of which you will find at the back of this bulletin. We would also like to thank all the Board members and all the colleagues who have collaborated, for the wisdom, intelligence, courtesy and dedication they have performed their tasks with. Finally, we communicate you that the training committee is finishing the final touches on the seminars program for next year. You will find its premiere in the next bulletin. The Board

2. Calendar


	May 8 2nd Thursday at 9:30 PM	In first convocation, and at 10 PM in second convocation: Extraordinary Assembly of the ACPP, in order to elect the new ACPP representatives to the next Directors Board meeting of the AEPP, nominated by the ACPP Board (M.Alabau, Y.La Torre, M.Pol and M.de Querol). We remind you that, should you be unable to attend, you may vote personally or by mail, at the ACPP Secretary’s office.

	EFPP The EFPP is already organizing the third conference on Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy in Groups, together with the Portuguese Groupanalytical Society: The individual and the group: bridging the Gap, which will be held in Lisbon on October 8, 9 and 10, 2004. Anyone interested in participating may obtain further information from the ACPP secretary.

The Conference will include presentations and workshops with a high scientific level. We encourage you to participate.




	The web page: www.bibliopsiquis.com/asmr is a journal of Mental Relational Psychoanalytical Health, with an important slot on groups. Access is free. You are all invited to publish your papers there. It accepts Papers in Catalan, with summaries in English and Spanish.




	International Journal of Psychoanalysis: Those of you interested in knowing the content of this journal, we now have the opportunity to do it through the electronic version which is free for a month. The web page of the IJP is: www.ijpa.org. Keep in mind that groups of 10 subscriptions within the AEPP have a 33% discount. As mentioned before, EFPP members, and therefore members of the ACPP and the AEPP, have the same opportunities to publish articles in the IJP after going through the same selection process that IPA members go through.
