Dear all: after taking a short vacation, an Easter break a little stretched, we have already worked in a first meeting of the Board in which we have finished distributing among each of us the different committees. This was the main item in order to continue performing the tasks carried out at the ACPP.
Now, each Board member will form a working commission with the members with whom she plans to work, which means that each and every one of you could receive an offer to participate in one of the different commissions.
As when we work with patients in therapy with a preset schedule, we keep the end in mind from the beginning, this Board also wants to keep in mind that this period of 4 years not only has to keep the ACPP rolling, and carrying out the new proposals explained to you in the presentation ceremony, but we want to establish a network of collaborators diverse and solid enough so that those of you who are younger start practicing and eventually take over. In the News section we present the people heading each committee and also the names of the collaborators who have agreed to take part in some of the commissions of each committee.

News from the School of the ACPP
Clinical Session
On March 18 there will be a joint Clinical Session with all the students in order to work on the material provided by them. The alumni of the School are also invited.
Program of Academic year 2004-2005
The Program of the Master’s Degrees in Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy of the School for academic year 2004-2005 will be ready in mid May. We encourage you to disseminate the word among the professionals who might be interested in it.
On April 28 the Assembly of Training Members held a meeting that was attended by the majority.
It dealt with very interesting issues, especially regarding the projects of the new Board and among these, the work that the new Board is planning in regard to the presence and the work of the psychoanalytical psychotherapist in the Public Institutions.
Another relevant subject that was debated was the need to disseminate in the media the figure of the psychoanalytical psychotherapist.
The next meeting of the Assembly of Training Members will take place on the fifth Wednesday of June, the 30th.
In the first meeting of the new Board one of the items discussed was that of the persons in charge of the different committees and their composition, which was resolved as follows.
