Catalan Conference on Mental Health


Dear friends,
The reason of this writing is to inform you about the Second Catalan Conference on Mental Health, organized by our Foundation, under the theme "The boundaries of psyquism" Memorial Francesc Tosquelles, which will take place on February 6, 7 and 8 of 2003. Within the structure of the conference, we would like to ask you to join the group of organizations supporting it.
As many of you may already know,  Fundació CCSM is comprised of a Board of 28 Mental Health professionals and is institutionally supported by the following: Col·legi de Metges de Barcelona  (Medical Association of Barcelona), Col·legi Oficial de Psicolegs de Catalunya (Catalan Psychologists Association), Col·legi Oficial de Diplomats de Treball Social i Assistents Socials de Catalunya (Catalan Association of Social Workers and Social Assistants), Col·legi Oficial d'Infermeria de Barcelona (Nurses Association of Barcelona); which participate in it in as projector members. The goal of our Foundation is the promotion and improvement of Mental Health in our country, stemming from a permanent, open and participative debate with the different sectors involved.
The first edition of the Catalan Conference on Mental Health "What’s Mental Health?" Memorial Emili Mira i López, held on February of 1999, achieved the participation of about 1000 professionals from different disciplines.
The status of collaborating entity being now proposed involves:
-giving your support as a group to the organization of the conference.
- participating in the diffusion of the conference from your activities and usual communication channels.
- the possibility of participating in some workshops/ simultaneous sessions, provided in the preliminary program.  Normally on Friday at 7 PM.
- other forms of participation or collaboration to be agreed on.
We will send you the preliminary program of the conference as soon as possible, so that you may obtain a general view of the 2nd Catalan Conference on Mental Health.
